I know it been a long long time since I updated anything. Well, here I go. I have the mother of all bad luck all in one day. It was 11 in the night and I got a call from my friends for a yam cha session. I parked my car at a well lit area at Ipoh Garden East. I got back to my car at around 3 something and guess what I came back to?
To put it literally, my rear passenger side mirror got busted! I lost the bag that I am suppose to use for work. Nothing was valuable in there. The bag itself is however very valuable to me. It was a gift. A very precious one at that. I lost my Petronas Bumblebee. Yeah, that Transformers Bumblebee. What a waste!
To the one that got my bag, may you rot in hell. To the one that broke my glass, may all the unhappiness in the world go to you.
To the one that got my Bumblebee, may the door of heaven are close to you.
Anyway, I got myself another Bumblebee. This time, its the Transformer : Revenge of the Fallen, Deluxe Bumblebee. I never got the chance of a getting a decent Transformer figure when I was little. Manage to get one now that I have started working.
The Chevrolet Camaro Concept. An interesting car.
Manage to transform it and make it to pose. The material it is made of is not bad. It is not as filmsy as what I have imagine it would be. Might plan to buy the Human Alliance Bumblebee. If only the legs are not reversed. Sigh..
Back to my mother of all bad luck. The next morning, after sending my mom to work I was on my way to the workshop to fix my car, my car broke down in the middle of the road. So, I was stuck there, smoke coming out from my engine, wind coming in from the back, it was hot. I was lucky that it was not raining. A blessing perhaps?
I got myself a new phone. Its the Sony Ericcson K660i. Its a simple and minimalistic phone. Straight to the point function. Try video calling me sometimes.
You have been drinking the other night, you head is heavy from the hangover and you can't even walk straight. The slightest noise makes your head banging like construction workers trying to lay down the foundation of a building.
Now, imagine waking up to the smell of a nice and aromatic cup of hot coffee that will kick start your day. Imagine this...
and this... and if it doesn't seal the deal...
IMAGINE THIS!!
And all this is possible with the Coffee-O-Maker-Matic-3000xx. Alright, I'm joking. As the Joker would say 'Why so serious?'. The real name of this baby is the
I have always fancy those US drama series. They have a coffee maker everywhere. In the office, in the house, in the boat. You name it, they have it. In the Malaysia scene, your coffee would be those typical 3 in 1 instant coffee or those really really strange and awkward 13 in 1 Tongkat Ali + Kacip Fatimah + Ginseng + xxxx. Hell, one sip from those and your nose will be bleeding non-stop.
Then are those novelty coffee stores such as Coffee Bean and Starbucks. Its not cheap you know? If I want to get a cup of genuine coffee, I would have to resolve to this...
So, what do you say? A nifty gift for a fellow Nuffnanger, right?

Recently, I visited a newly opened shop near the highway entrance in which ironically, the name of the new shop is Highway Kopitiam. Coincidence? I don't think so. Anyway, I visited the shop when they were having their promotion on their 'personal steamboat'.
Basically, every table have two stoves, literally. You can adjust the intensity of the fire so that your pot can be boiling or just nicely simmering.
We ordered two pots of their 'personal steamboat'. It is call personal because each person will be given an individual pot. This is a good hygenic practice but somehow, it lacked the closeness that one will get when sharing one whole big pot. I liked the feeling of having to wait for the food to be cooked and having small chats over it.
You will be given two plates of food to be put into your pot. It contains mainly of seafood and vegetables. Nothing fancy but it is very filling. They have 2 kinds of soup, the famous one being porridge, followed by tom yam. You can ask for a refill for the soup. Drink till your hearts content. I find the tom yam to be on the spicy side. Careful guys.
The decorations of the shop is comprise mainly of a big mirror and a board with a lot of photos. The photos show what life story of the owner. Quite special really but I just connect with the photos.
My visit to Highway Kopitiam has been a satisfying experience. I wouldn't mind going again with the right company. Till then, visit their website and see their menu.
Oh gosh! The last time I updated my blog was on May. I have been missing from the blogosphere for 3 whole months. Sorry guys! Just to keep you all updated, I am currently doing my internship at a loss adjusting company. 6 more weeks to go before I can get a job and settle down. Been going all around during my internship. I have been to the very north and the very south of Perak. Been to places that the name is so strange you will think whether this place really exist on the map.
Just hope that my next update won't need another 3 months. Will try to post something the next time I am free. Till then, take good care guys...
Yes, it has been ages since I have posted anything here. I have been quite busy trying to finish my final year of studies at UUM. With all that said and done I can proudly say that I have finish the journey and about to start a new journey. A journey to the working world but before that, I need to finish my internship which will last for about 4 months.
Just to keep you guys updated, currently I have a lot of free times in my hand that I spent on downloading loads and loads of drama and movie. I have just finish my 3 year study at UUM on Risk Management and Insurance and are well... currently jobless. However, I will be starting on my internship on June at an Adjuster company in Ipoh. So guys, if you wanna find me out to chat or just for those 'yam cha' sessions, do give me a ring. Its an open invitation and I'll be glad to do some catching up with you guys.
Gosh! I really cannot imagine that I have finish my studies. 3 years is neither a short nor a long time but it does get you into perspective. It makes you know what you want in life and how to achieve it. Now, I'm on the right track and I don't ever want to sway away from it. I just have to hope that good things will come my way as it always does and everything is truly a blessing in disguise. There's a few things that I'll miss about my Uni life but what I will miss the most are my partners in crime, my comrades, my coursemates. The relationship forged over the course of 3 years is indeed a close and inseparable one. I will always miss you guys.
I will miss passing through this building on my way to classes.
I will miss the library which I have borrowed so many books that I did not finish reading.
I will miss the guys...
and I will miss the gals.
I will miss the times we spent doing silly things.
And I do hope that you guys wont forget to give me a ring!
