Of Etiqutte In A Jiffy

OMG!! I didn't update my blog for one whole month. I was really busy with my thesis and all. Now that I'm back for CNY, I'll update regularly until I leave for Uni again. I recently attended a seminar on protocol. The purpose? I don't really know what they are trying to get into our brains in 5 hours but I attended anyway. I really need to graduate from this place.

Well, we had to endure a 2 hour talk on how to wear the suitable attire for the any occasssion, then we were lectured on how to use the cutleries on the table. Basically, we were taught the things that we already know. What I wanted to learn was how to drink red wine, the steps, how to identify good red wine. But no, we were taught how to drink soup.

Looking at the cutleries, we were already very hungry expecting what is to come. a 2 hour talk on it seems kind of long. Dinner time was approaching and he is still talking on it. Drowsiness started to dwell in me. Instead of feeling hungry, I felt sleepy.

the setting

The oriental chicken chop was terrible, hard as a stone, as is with the soup, cold as the North Pole. We waited 2 hours for it. We should have been given a chain saw instead of dining knives. The only saving point was the bun.

At the end of out meal, we were given a pudding as our dessert. It has a fancy name but the taste was truly appalling. I had a small bite and that was it. I couldn't take another bite anymore.

Cream Caramel Pudding

Yippee!! I have a certificate now, does that mean that I'm able to dine better?
